Greetings visitors! You have reached The Princess and the General, a site dedicated solely to one of the most beautiful (and under-rated) pairs in the Sailor Moon universe. Though there is very little true proof that there was ever a true relationship between Ami and Zoisite (especially in the anime, in which Zoisite is depicted as either gay or a woman), it is certainly true that Takeuchi-sama toyed with the idea of matching up the senshi with the shitennou (in English, this is translated into "general," but a better translation would be "four heavenly kings"); the infamous picture of the senshi in the arms of the shitennou is evidence of this. Sadly, that one picture is all she gave us to hint at relationships between senshi and shitennou. (Unless you count the instance in Sailor Moon Vol. 1, Act 3 where Jadeite strokes Rei's hair and says: "How pretty. She's something special...this girl.") At any rate, Takeuchi-sama may not have gone any farther with the relationship than a single picture, but a countless number of fans have gone farther. I'm of the opinion that Ami and her fellow senshi deserve soulmates just as much as Usagi does, and Zoisite and his companions suite my purpose just fine. By creating this web site, I hope to share my love for the Ami and Zoisite pairing with my fellow fans.

Updates
26 July 2004 // I've added a lot of new stories to the fan fiction section. Our count is now up to 35! So, happy three month anniversary, everyone. ^_^ I love you all! I hope everyone will sign the guestbook... Do it twice! I don't mind!
24 July 2004 // I've added eight stories to the fan fiction archive: "White as Snow" by Mira Moon, "What Is Not" & "Wistful" by Ocianne, "The Falls of Mercury and Zoisite" & "Help Means..." & "The Death of Zoisite" & "For Zoi" by Calicia, and "From the Bottom of My Heart" by Cosmos Sailor Mars. I've also done a little more tweaking on the appearance of the archive -- more on the content displays than the layout, however. It is my hope to have the story count up to 25+ by the end of this week in honor of our 3 month anniversary. So far we have 16. Think we can do it? LOL! Well, we'll find out, won't we? I'm hoping no one will be disappointed if I stick mainly to adding new stories for the next several days. It's not that easy, really, since I'm mostly on the lookout for stories that are already finished; I don't care to add stories to the archives when I'm not sure the authors are still interested in continuing them. I don't exactly have unlimited space. I'm running out of room fast and can't afford to buy more storage at this time. Perhaps I should add advertisements... Gah! All those annoying banners and pop-ups were the reason I purchased a domain in the first place! I don't want to go back to that! Well, anyway, I've got to go. Until next time! <3 Angel
23 July 2004 // I've added three parts to a new story called "Seduction" by Apsara and one part to "Love at Fifth Sight" by Warrior of Ice. Enjoy.
22 July 2004 // I applied to join a couple of web rings. Nothing too interesting... Oh! And I'm considering starting up a clique for Ami and Zoisite lovers. We'll see what happens. I'm just trying to think of what I'd call the clique and what kind of codes I should make.
20 July 2004 // Wow! This site has received 1000+ hits as of today! That's so exciting, ne? I'm trying to think of something special to do to celebrate the occasion. Once I come up with something, I'll let ya'll know. Any requests or suggestions should be sent to me via the form -- or via email.
17 July 2004 // Updated the villian guide with two entries. That's better than nothing, right?
2 July 2004 // I've won an award from Mizu-chan at Water Bubble Blues! Go to the awards section to see it. It's very pretty.
1 July 2004 // It's my birthday! Yea! ^_^ I'm nineteen as of this morning. Updates today include an altered image.
History
Version 1.0 Title: Wistful Thoughts Launched: 26 April 2004 Retired: 07 June 2004
This was a rather simple inline frame layout I threw together in just a day or two. I didn't know much about php at the time, so I thought using frames would be easier in the long run when it came to revising the feel of the site. One drawback was that it didn't quite fit into 800x600 pixel screens. Also, the navigation table was only located on the main page, so frequent use of the back button was a requirement. Still, I loved that image of Ami.
